Usually solo so two pots is it, but has been  more than enough for regular reds recently

 Not really producing the goods. Good self sustaining population but not big enough 

 Trying out pots near Stragglers. A few reds today, but all with eggs and tar spot, so all went back. I guess this is the right time of year for that, but does it give any clue to timing of the whites run?

Took 4 trips, but eventually found them. Busted up a couple of times too. 

the deckie is just holding it up for the photo, has spearing intentions himself but have him starting off with a hand spear.

 Winter reds are in close again, I got the numbers, missus got the trophy.

 Dr Glenn has given me the ID, so will tell in due course, but guesses going for anyone that's keen?

Caught by a member in the Keep River, 45cm long on a whole mullet.

 Fat one from this morn, think I was still waking up as was first drop. 670

 Nice seafood platter of trout, squiddlies and crabs. Export only good as a measuring stick in my opinion.

 Best thing about winter in the north outside of it not being 40 degrees.

 She hooked it through the nose, but it still counts.. Not sure there's anything  better than fresh trout on the plate, so good.

 Trying to crack the handline/shallow water bluey code, lost a couple that may have been decent, certainly not easy fishing as they know how to find the reef.

 Got this nice one today from 6m of water off a marker pole out at Samson, thought he had me done a fair few times. One for the plate

 Solid fingermark from the snags that was released. Very lucky for him that the ice in the live bait tank was melting faster than planned with the 43 degree heat.

 Tried a new creek on the weekend, didn't fish it for long due to the dropping tides, but produced a lil one on the first pass and looks promising for some livies.

 Got the baz ticked off in the first few weeks of having the tinny in the north. Not huge but came from 600mm of water. Released

 Good Jack on a placcy from the weekend, deep from the snags. Released

 Old man got out with one of the boys out of peaceful bay, did well for himself getting a 10kg 80cm.

 Love these surface lures, everything ate them on the weekend. Released

 Took the new tub for a run when down south at Chrissy (thanks Johnny, is mickey mouse as you said) and very happy with it. Got it out a few times out Nornalup for lots of little bream. Now looking forward to getting it out up here in Ktown for a baz or three.

 Found a trout up Cleaverville creek the other weekend, bit of a surprise

 Weatherman got it wrong but punched on anyway. Tough fishing with big tides and wind in the same direction, got a heap of baby reds but finally managed a 500 odd to put in the box before chilling on the beach.

The missus keeps donging the solid reds, I'm not complaining. 5 hours of next to nothing and lots of spot changing, tide change and 1 hour of power before shutting down again.

 Went out late, quiet all arvo then came on for an hour on sunset tide change. 600
