Hi lads,
Recently I have bring the boat out for quite a few times over the Christmas holiday. I realise some part missing on the outboard. It is some kind of stone look that is mounted between the middle leg n bottom leg. Can anyone tell me what is that part for and will it effect the function of the outboard without it. Any information is appreciate.
thanks in advance

what exactly are we looking
what exactly are we looking at, doesn't seem to be anything missing? If you are talking the sacrificial anode then it doesn't affect the performance of the engine, but it pays to have them on the motor as it will stop corrosion on more vital parts of the motor.
to fish or not to fish...as if there was an option.

Sacrificial anode ?
Maybe but I am no expert. Maybe also just a bushing for the leg but again, just a guess.

I don't think its the anode.
I don't think its the anode. I don't know what HP the motor is, but have a look on the attached web site.

Look at the exhaust housing and midsection.
