Looking at a second hand with about 300 hours on the clock

Owned a 90 for about ten years. Apart from impellers, gearcase oil and plugs every hundred hours-ish no maintenance required. Flush em after every use and look after it you'll have no problems.

same

had 2 of the 90s two strokes , first was a 97 model for near 19 years , second i bought in 2016,

no issues with either motor, just make sure you clean flush them every time and keep them serviced regularly
fuel wise , i have not found them that bad ,but off margs we are not running 100km round trips , usually under 20km per time out
