I have an 06 F250 Yam 4stroke - cant complain! -its on a 23ft cc so its not working too hard -very economical and pretty quiet - saw one that came from a Tuna farm that had 3000 hours on it and it still looked good under the hood and ran well
We have switched from Yam to Suzuki at our yacht club (RPYC) for all the sailing/saftey boats - these cop a bit of a belting and by all accounts are holding up really well.
I think like anything it comes down to servicing....
Iv got a 2010 on my 7.1m jackman fitted 2011 Iv done 780hrs an never had a problem. Doing 80-90nm trips to the shelf. 3-4 days to the abrolhos ect. Getting around a mile a L.
