weigh bridge

probably best to take it to a public weigh bridge mate, and find out first hand.

with regards to your towball weight, you aren't actually allowed more than a couple of hundred kilos on the actual tow ball itself, and you can actually get tow ball scales to measure.

Yeh i haveone you could come around and try if you wanted.

About the towing of a 2601 personally without ever owning one i would think not under 3500 not with fuel and gear anyway!

Think you need to find out

Think you need to find out the ATM and GTM of your boat and trailer and can probably work it out from there. If balanced correctly there won't be a heap of weight on your towball like Scotto says.

For a boat that size you

For a boat that size you would want 300-350kgs but no less in my experience otherwise could have a tendancy to fish tail

Take it to weighbridge.

The one at North Freo will give you a weight hitched and unhitched for $20.

I havnt brought a 2601  yet but are looking very hard. just getting a bit worried it might be to heavy? the new ranger xlt has a 350 kg max towball download  and 3500kg max towing so  i really need to know how much the 2601 seaswirl striper weighs.

Its hard to find an accurate weight in kgs.

 Twins or single?

Cant remember the name but there was a Australian dealer for seaswirls over in QLD. Not sure if they still are.

Otherwise ask some of the sellers on boat sales.....should give you an good idea.

Or as above the best way call past the weigh bridge in your way for a sea trial.

From the info I just read on

From the info I just read on seastriper it looks like they go over 3500kgs. My 2101DC goes a bit over 2T. These things have large fuel tanks though and that can greatly affect the weight as can their trailer types. One guy on seastriper said his 2601 fully loaded was 9500lbs or 4300kgs. Another said 8500 or 3800kgs.

3200kg

Tradeboats review says the 2601 is 3200kg on trailer weight. That doesn't include the trailer so it would be over 3.5t.
