2nd fishing trip in a row, right place right time

Well my shot made front page of the west australian!!!!! I was fishing at hamlin baywith scano, bodie , freinds and family when i woke to Bodie yellin at my tent entrance "60+ whales are beached" and yes i grabbed camera and took shots first then hepled all day swiming them out with sharks all around us!!! What a event!!!!!

I was reading the article the other day, and when the said you took some pics of boat people....after about 10 mins it come to me that you were a fishwrecked member.

Camera is only a dslr canon 400d with a couple good lenses. Camera total is $2500. Its paying for itself :)

Well this is where it all started, walking down the beach with camera in hand and back pack on my back. I started snapping pics strait away.
I must warn that they may be distressing as they even still choke me up while looking at them. This is nature at its true form....

Right place at the right time..
The West picture editor would have had a big smile on his face when you asked for $500 !!
If it's an exclusive and a good picture series, push hard $2500 - $5000 wouldn't be out of the question !
As an example I know the guy who shot some of the last images of Peter Brock.
Nothing special, Brocky drinking a coffee prior to the days start and a basic shot of him driving a lap at AHG (from memory) nothing special, but some of the last images of the legend - he managed $10k from the West, with exclusive usage in the West and Faifax subsidaries..
Have you tried the likes of National Geographic for sales ??
Might be worth contacting them before it's too late !
Failing that, if you are keen to possibly make some extra $$'s out of the pictures and haven't supplied elsewhere, drop me a PM with your contact details.
