75HP Mercury 4 Stroke

 Hi all, 

Just wondering if any of you members have a new Mercury 75HP 4 stroke, and if so give some feedback on them please. I am close to purchasing a new boat and it has a Merc 4 stroke so would just like to know how they perform and what they are like with fuel economy etc. It would be pushing a 484 Alloy Side Console. 

 

Any feedback would be appreciated.

 Mate had one, very good on fuel, quiet and reliabe despite his complete lack of mainatenace up in Port Hedland.

 

Good option.

 I had the new 90 that is the same motor,  very quite and amazing on fuel & had no problems with it .I now have a new 60 merc and have to say it's just as good .

Putting a 90Hp CT on my 5.5 Caribbean. Been told it will be much better than the 90Hp 2 stroke that is coming off it....
The 75 should work a treat on yours.
