Hi Guys,
Im still looking for a 4x4 project car and I think I have narrowed it down to a 80/100 series land crusier or a land cruiser troopy both 350 chev 1993 .
Anyone know what would be a better 4x4 on beach/sand ect...
Many thanks for any info

any of those would be awsum. big tires and low tire pressure is the key and difflocks too. on sand i run all terrains and not muddies because mud terrains tend to dig deeeep trenches in soft sand real quick. ive got a 350 chev in my landcruiser ute (hj75 series), has 35 inch tires and difflocks. with the tire pressures down (12-15psi) i can idle around in the dunes all day piece of cake. it goes anywhere. never owned a troopy but iv'e heard they are top heavy?
80 series, front/rear difflocks, 35inch allterrains, chev running straight lpg would be my pick.

The 80 series would have to be one of the best model of 4wd cars produced IMO
