A good move by the Eagles,
A good move by the Eagles, Simpson is a highly respected assistant at the Hawks. Will do very well at the Weagles I think.

He's no Messiah.
He is going to be flogging a dead horse, that's why Worsfold got out.
cheers

Struggle
It'll be a struggle for anyone taking over the Weagles.
There's at least 10 teams better them regardless of who the coach is.
I personally think the Gold Coast will finish higher than you guys this year.

Fair enough
Not including the Giants and Melbourne for obvious reasons can you name the other 8 clubs that you guys believe that you are better than that will give you a berth in the top 8??
Bearing in mind the retirements and the fact that the younger players in your list aren't actually that good.

haha....your point about gold
haha....your point about gold coast is irrelevant..... within 2-3 years they are going to be top 4 material and challenging for a premiership...the AFL gave them this. they want success up there.
I think the WC list is average, hence why you here all these whispers of a clean out.
but I see them being somewhere in the mix for 7-10th next year.

Good luck to him. Its always nice to see a 'newbie' step up and I hope he turns the eagles around. Get patersons back to being a house of pain week in week out again.

i find it strange that Woosha
i find it strange that Woosha didn't instill that culture to begin with and hold them accountable, they certianly need a step up in intensity in thier game, time will tell, we can speculate all we want. first thigns first lets see who they trade and who they grab in the drafts. March is a long way away fellas....

yeah pretty happy with that -
yeah pretty happy with that - i think we needed someone new, clarko would have been a hard arse to work under, Simmo would have been copping sprays and ducking punches for most of the year, hoping he will bring something similar to our boys, a few left jabs might wake them up.

Nice new material there
Nice new material there Carnarvonite. It's a real ring ding dinger! Haven't heard that one since my grandad was on his death bed in 1985.
At least Simpson has the ticker to take on a challenge unlike your premiership-less SA loser that was given a ready made team and still couldn't win! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

Looks ok for West Coast sea-kem
The TAB getting money on them for a top 8 finish
Oh thats right I forgot about the chardonnay class from $ Dalkieth $ Mosmans Bay $ Claremont Hob Knob Hill ect ect
If there was an unlucky team this year [ other than FFC ] you would have to put up Swans wouldn't you
They had a awful run with injuries this year
Plus the inclusion of that tosser from the Tasmanians whom by the way will weaken the shitery out em HaHa
The Sydney FC will be hard to toss.
For me top sides next year
Fremantle - Sydney - Kangaroos - Tiges with Hawthorn and Geelong falling down the ladder.
