Footy is back!
Round one... my tips are locked in but i reserve the right to change them right up to bounce down on thursday night.
Just wondering how everyone thinks their team recruited over the summer? I see the Eagles prize recruit got three possessions on debut 
and is unlikely to play round one. Richmond's came back to preseason 7kgs overweight. On the other hand geelong's has just cut sick and freo's is starring but may not be able to force his way into the team (i suspect ross is throwing outa red herring there).
Anyway, i think i am tipping
Whoever is playing carlton and essendon. West coast and freo, gws, roos, pies, port and geelong.

Not that phased on how we go, been spoilt with flags and ending other club's season's year in year out, its more about the enjoyment of other team's failures after constant receival of their fan's claim to forseen glory lollll. LLL

So bringing in no big name equals no recruiting? The likes of Blake Hardwick and Keiran Lovell should go alright at some point. No Roughead for a bit and no Hale at back is a bit of a challenge but we have had worse in terms of missing players and still got up. Should be up and about again in the top four.

Heard how the east perth
Heard how the east perth boys went yesterday? Giles fumbled everything and was well beaten by a non afl ruckman, redden was slow and underdone and should have played and jetta didnt play. And for that you lost your second best ruckman. East perth had 15 eagles listed players i believe yesterday and they were woeful.
Bennell could well be a brownlow medalist in the making, but not this year. He is only 23 and has his best ahead of him. He has put on a few kilos of upper body strength over the summer. And freo fans are seeing his potential already.
I'm excited about this year for freo. I think we have recruited well over the past couple of years and have youngsters pushing for selection into the best midfield in the competition. Its good times ahead for freo.

wonder how the freo muppets will go this year? they done well recruiting bennell but its only a matter of time before he goes to northbridge and gets back on the gear. What happened to freo recruiting a key forward to kick em some more goals??? thats right no one wanted to go there. Just gotta rely on the pav to kick goals for you....again!(Flogging a dead horse if you ask me) just let the poor old fella retire like he wanted to. don't worry bout the west coast recruits randall, they're top quality players and theyll be running rings around your boys this year buddy

Yep. The only better recruit over the summer was geelong picking up dangerfield which was pretty much a given. Sydney picking up Sinclair in return for jetta was a pretty good bargin too

I have ummed and arhhed over the pies / swans game. Being at the scg i was leaning towards the swans. But on the basis of everyone saying the pies will be one of the two big improvers this year, i have tipped them for round 1.

And yes Bennell will be recruit of the year. The young guy has Charlie written all over him but that is only possible if Fyfe is moved into the forward zone. Treloar looks real good on the ball like a shit load of others. WC must have rocks for brains to swap Sinclair for the spear chukka. LOL

Might be worth a small wager against my team WC. $1.03 vs $19. Havent seen such long odds in a 2 horse race for ages.
Mostly tipping with the crowd, but 2 against.
Melbourne and Adelaide IMO might surprise.
