Again.....
Headed to the Bluff Saturday morning and was distraught that no matter what hill i climbed i couldnt check my Supercoach arghhhh, Anyway back home now and primed for a large super sunday of footy this weekend watching WC and Saints batter each other, Crows to let the Power know who is actually in power in SA and of course the ALL MIGHTY HAWKS - WILL!!! Keep marching towards finals...

Well what a week in footy.
Danger broke the heart of a tonne of Dreamteamers on the eve of the finals but everyone has or should have him so it's no biggy.
Word coming out of the West Coast camp is that it is a toxic environment and that a few senior players are not very happy with the way the Matt Priddis situation was handled. The only one who should be copping flack over this is the goose that gave him an extra year when he was already a mere speck in the rear view mirror of the game he'd been left so far behind. Might explain why the boys aren't playing for any pride in their jumper away from home.
West Coast still have a chance of finals but need to beat Saints away after they nearly jumped us at home this year and Carlton at home and then face GWS away and Adelaide at home. Unfortunately even if we do limp in we have shown absolutely nothing to indicate we can put together 4 quarters of footy against a quality side. We couldn't even bury a NEAFL side last week!
I was very interested and very happy to see that West Coast have engaged Austin Robertson Jr to come in as a goal kicking coach. I never saw him play but have read a lot on the old WAFL stars and by all accounts you simply will not find a better kick of the footy than the great man which I say with bile in my throat as I'm talking up a Subi player.
Best recruit of the year? I didn't see Vickery's name on the teamsheet Boon but aside from that he is better known for his king hits from behind more than his niggle. I'll say this though, if Pridda can win a Brownlow then there's always hope for Titch.
Ins for GWS: Johnson, Mumford, Hopper and DELEDIO and still have Green, Cameron and Ryan fucken Griffen to come back. That is pure silliness.

Gaff was the only Eagle player in the top 10 or so possession stats, so the Saints were all over us in that regard. I was on the road between Onslow and Karratha today and didn't see the game, which mightn't have been a bad thing going by Gilly's frustration here :).

Thats the worst i've seen the Hawks play for a long time, over using the ball forcing a turn over and when they didnt they just butchered it....
Richmond killed them on the turn over and were the much better team this time round...
I hope none of the injured fellas come back this year ( except Gibson who probably should retire ) for a farewell game...
Next year the list will be looking a whole lot healthier come round 1.
