i reckon so far this year they have made the most of it , given the injurys and outs , as a team they have exceeded all perforamnce expectations , so no one kidding themselves
thing is to always keep it real and keep a lid on the hype of how good your team is imo
earlier this year the compared teams stats showed hawks , eagles and the pies as teams that had the across the board stat averages to be potential grand finalists if they continued in the same vain for the second half of the year,
hawks have , eagles almost and the pies have faded , losing some close ones
so this season still has along way to go , no sense in getting star struck too early , lots of west coast fans did that back in 1991, and got let down badly , freo fans have felt the same type of hype as well recently
eagles still need to win 2 more , and then play well in the finals to have any chance
for now ill enjoy the ride and keep it real , keep watching them hunt until/if they are good enough to play that last day of the season
so imo lets not get ahead of oursleves too early ,

You cant break the skin on your arm by forcing your arm into someones mouth. It requires a biting down action, and the bitten pulling away.
