Just back home from the game. My analysis.... freo's skills were woeful, our disposal absolute crap and that unmeasurable statistic known as scoreboard pressure early on. Eagles scored early we didnt. Freo played it out and our defence stood up and looked better in the last when pearce went back. If we had stolen at the end it would have been an injustice.
I thought josh hill getting tbe medal was an insult to a lot of other eagles players who were more deserving. No one from freo deserved it.
Dont get too carried away. Dawson and luke to come back and we'll have our best back six back together. Hopefully a win next week will stich up top two and then give a few boys a rest in the last couple of rounds (read - give them a couple of weeks off to learn how to kick and handpass.....)
