Alaska fishing lodges - recommendations??

Heading there next year for four weeks and want to stay in a fishing lodge - there are plenty of them - anyone been there and, if so any recommendations (or otherwise)

you take me as an observer, photographer and note taker. Sounds awesome, can't be of any real help though unfortunately.......
But if it was me I'd be trying to find a hellishly remote lodge, like one you can only access by boat or helicopter or the like. Way, way out of the way type place.

Fishing Alaska
Not been to any lodges but spent plenty of time in Alaska.
Wild place.

The fishing is awesome but best out remote.
Never seen hippocket fishing like I saw in there..........
There's no real skill in the fishing over there for salmon. Just remember you can't keep a salmon that is not hooked in the mouth.
I worked with Bears in Canada so I can lend you some advice.

My partner and I stayed at Twin Peaks fishing lodge in Nome Alaska, they do Helicopter fishing so it is a bit on the pricey side but was a trip never forget. If you wanted to you could get cricket scores of Salmon, but we had a lot more fun chasing after Graylings and Dolly Varden Char. They do not get alot of Chinook Salmon in Nome so if you after the really big salmon then you best of around Anchorage or further south.
Also did some fishing on the Kobuk river for sheefish, was fairly out of the way and a few small plane flights and a hour run in a boat to get there, but 20lb sheefish were worth the trip and managed one that nudged over 30lb.
Did few other bits and pieces, as well with all the fish i chased being on the fly rod.

Decided on Wildman Lake Lodge
Having seen photos and videos of "combat" fishing in and around Kenai and seemingly anywhere a road crosses a river there - shoulder to shoulder fishing and skull drag anything you hook as it is BAD form to play the fish as that picks up everyone elses line it had to be somewhere remote - we looked at Anvik which was very attractive but it is purely fishing, Hoodoo looked amazing though it appeared you could literally drop anything pink to hook up - that's catching not fishing - so have opted for Wildman as the wife can go photographing walrus, wolves and bears and I can indulge on fish ..cant get much more remote as it is near the Bering Sea
This is our 60th birthday present to ourselves......
Now to attack some Halibut out of Homer or Seldovia - roll on July next year
