Ali boats with sealed deck

Is it a general rule most people rinse out under deck cavity bilge area after boating? For example put the hose into the hung hole to rinse out any salt water or salt build up. To prevent corrosion? As I've only ever owned a small dinghy in ali cheers

Wouldn't say
wouldnt say I did it every wash down but used to fill the bilge full every couple times a year at the boat ramp let it slosh around till I got home and then pulled the bung.
It is good to get the salt out as it will eat into the Ali over time if left

Not for me, on my Bar Crusher
Not for me, on my Bar Crusher the sealed deck is exactly that, no water, no cleaning and does not have a bilge pump. When I open the bung I always a hear a release of pressure so this lets me know that the deck is still sealed properly and in (theory) dry. The bilge area on mine has a small dedicated area at the back of the boat.
In saying that I would hate to leave the bungs out as the BC's have a flooded keel.
I did leave the bung out of the kill tank once which was quite embarrassing and flooded the back of the boat pretty damn quick, never again !

If it was a proper "sealed
If it was a proper "sealed deck" you wouldn't need to flush out under there deck.
