Already Upgrading
Hey all,
Well I had to upgrade from all my plastic starter stuff from xmas today. I guess I am now fully addicted. Tha cheap plastic shit was giving me heaps of heartache. My beach rod reel was no longer interested in winding in after I cast, and tha boat rod reel, tha line had actualy burned through tha plastic causing it to get snagged on almost every cast. This morning was tha last straw when I lost my twistie that I got just yesterday from Matt T. By tha time I got tha reel snag sorted tha twistie had sunk to tha bottom and got snagged. I got a nice new 7ft rod and reel and a new reel for tha beach rod. I am gona head out for herring tonight I have some berley and a new twistie. Am I better off heading off tha rocks in Mindarie or tha beach/reef of southern quinns? Or if anyone knows of another good local spot I am happy to try it out!!

I have been looking at tha map. Is that somewhere off ocean reef rd? Ive never really been down there before. I cant really tell where they mite be are there signs?

directions - " driving north towards oceanreef boat harbour theres a walkway a few hundred metres before the harbour turnoff - park your car across the road from there and walk down the walk way - at the end of the walk way jump thru the fence and walk west theres some low lyling cliffs - good fishing spot for tailor herring silver bream and sharks rays etc
