Fishwrecked, please let me know of some news websites you use.
I use news.com.au and bbc. I can see through there agendas and thinly veiled ads for tiktok and McDonald etc, that's fine everyone has to make a buck. Just want to see what else is useful.

Im taking that as a joke!
Im taking that as a joke! Abc are shit for news, no different to any other mainstream media. I used to listen alot to the abc while driving and the agendas they push are obvious. Currently the Covid issue as an example.
As for whether they stick to facts or not, i cant say, but being mainstream media id say they are no different than the rest.

I am comparing them to The West and Perth Now that are essentially channel 7, and News.com which is just click bait tabloid filth.

MSM mostly propaganda agents
I can offer an alternative point of view from a political right/conservative leaning mindset;
The Mainstream Media (MSM), including those already mentioned, often get their news narratives from a source like Associated Press which is then distributed throughout the Western world. That is, MSM is tightly controlled and the narratives pushed are determined by powerful globalists that own and influence them.
Project Veritas (who you can still find on YouTube) have done several good whistleblower and undercover investigations showing how the MSM and now big Tech control the news narratives.
People who wish to seek news away from the political left MSM, now often listen to alternative news provided by the likes of podcasters (Jo Rogan) and ex-MSM journalists (Glenn Beck). Big Tech (eg. YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc...) have also cancelled many alternative news providers, so platforms such as Telegram, Rumble, BitChute, GAB, Parlor provide information that is not available on Mainstream Big Tech apps.
While still watching some MSM political left news, I offset that with news from Conservative podcasters like Quite Frankly, Dark 2 Light, Glenn Beck, Sara Carter, Sean Hannity ... but they are US based. In Australia, our options are limited. Some Sky News presenters, otherwise, lesser known far right presenters like Avi Yemini and recently Aussie Cossack (both still currently available on YouTube and have been good for alternative videos relating to recent Melbourne and Sydney lockdowns).
For those who like alternative news even more right of politics and what most would describe as Conspiracy Theory sources, you have in the US - Alex Jones/Infowars, X22 Report, in Australia - ConspiracyOz Podcast and in the UK - Russell Brand's "Under the skin" or Paul Joseph Watson.
Just take these with a pinch of salt given they also push their own agendas and propaganda, like their opponents in the MSM do for the left of politics.
Please just try to remember that the media that we generally see provided by the states we live in, are filled with propaganda. This happens all around the world and is why a political leader like Putin can have +70% approval ratings in his country and portrayed very differently outside of it.
So whatever your political beliefs, I am a strong advocate of opening your mind to various news sources. It is quite amazing what you can learn. eg. Alex Jones introduced me to Bitcoin in 2013.

Excellent Reply
A very nice list you put together.
People could do a lot worse than turn off the nightly news.

Use to follow Joseph and Avi
Use to follow Joseph and Avi on FB....get a bit too much, the coverage of the Sydney and Melbourne protests was shit house, no need to report on dick heads!
I enjoy the sky updates...Jones makes me laugh, his bit on Biden a few days ago was gold. Credlin interview with Dick Smith also very good.
Dick Smith should run for PM.

No good mate, he's too down
No good mate, he's too down to earth and honest and no bullshit.
All the radio stations run their own agenda depending on who owns them. Listen to Bartlett on 6PR and all he does is cusify the labour party and suck SCOMO's pole.
Credlin is good, damn good but with right leanings.
I listen to Tripple J for the music as it shits on mainstream , but the political agenda on there is so far left it's about to fall over. They were roasting SCOMO on there today for his cooking curry comments lol.
The only ABC I really like is their country broadcast with the likes of Macca on a Sunday morning.
While driving from Kalbarri the other week through Nabawa, Yuna etc they had some excellent podcasts with Joan Jett and another with Colin Hay.
Love sports with Karl Langdon and Paul Haselby They both know their shit.
