I got the Albacore 20, such a multipurpose reel. Bloody strong drag as i run 50lb for bottom, but then when i troll ill put 15kg mono on it.
i got the "long range special" LRS so i could run these heavier lines no worries
the drag is smooth as silk when line is getting taken. tough as balls
all sealed, so none of this external stuff that is exposed to the saltwater, its all internal and protected.
gear ratio 4:1 (i think)
Are u thinking of getting one? Of course they do make the 2 sp versions if you did want that in the 50s.
Italian built, so they are made really well..
i dont have any negative on it, i love it..
hope this helps mate cheers
No worries Sean, the 50W 2sp would have to be the best game reel on the market imo...bloody nice reel mate and would handle those billies n tuna you get in the coral sea perfectly
