amberjack sunday
well yesterday wasnt too bad, i was quite surprised as to how much the ambers were fired up. Normally they arnt like that. It was good because it gave me a chance to try out a few new rods that i have just started stocking. I had one of the new daiwa demon bloods and expert far-get rods to put through the paces and my overall opinion of both rods i thought they were quite nice. The expert far-get was pretty much perfect for the job yesterday and i really gave it to it just to see if it could take the punishment. I definately found i was hooking alot more fish on better quality jig yesterday as usual compared to the other guys on the boat using sea rocks ect. i even caught a few fish on the new 11in mcarchy prototype i had. anyway heres a few pics

Im glad you liked the rod. You did try to push beyond the limit of a PE 1-2 rod with a Stella 8000 and 50lb braid on it!!
Seeing that you're SOM handle is not selling, you wanna sell your SOM 8k spool?? lol

How many boats where out there. Looks busy as a bee.
Here if i see another boat around the traps i move to a secluded spot.
Dont like pinging when it takes so long to find a decent spot, especially the ones I use up here. Always missed because they look so innocent on Sounders.
I know everone has the coords for the barges but it looks mad.
