ammo jetty what a dump for irresponcible fisher people
went fishing at the ammo jetty this morning with a mate this morning for scalies ,and found the jetty covered in discarded half fishbait with hooks still in big baits which would of been hazzordous to the local pelicans, seagulls and the general public by some inconsiderate fisher people who couldnt care less. i went around collecting the hooks by removing them from the big shark rigs, collected a heap of discarded fishing line and placed all these in the bin thinking to myself what a bunch of fuktards
whoever done this,no wonder the conservation groups want fishing stopped because of the minority of idiots outthere, after this i proceded to catch the scalies, took enough for myself and my mate,we caught enough still leaving them on the bite.........................

Ammo Jetty
Mate,
I dive there heaps. The first time, I dived there, I thought I would walk out onto the jetty and have a look. I kicked off my fins and started walking onto the jetty and then realised there were hundreds of smashed bottles, everywhere. I am a keen fisherman, but I can understand why some do gooders would object to our activities.
I did get to walk out there once, with shoes, broken glass, bait, dead fish and hooks everywhere. Bad enough on the jetty, but under the water is worse. There are heaps of foldaway chairs, hundreds of kilometers of line, beer bottles etc
I recovered a pushbike from there once, wheeled it out of the water and a woman said to me ' Did you find that bike?'
I said no, I always take a bike with me so I can cover more ground faster!!

Must agree fellas
we have gone for long drives on the beaches north/south of Leeman and the f/line/hooks we find is very disturbing. On some of the old crayfisherman jetties also. I just can't understand people sometimes, you have to take everything for fishing down to the jetty or beach to fish, why not bring it back home, 2 seconds to put all your discarded f/line/bait/drink bottles etc in a shopping bag,, pick it up and dump it either in a bin proved or in your own rubbish bin at home.
