anchor retrievals

Hi Everyone
Was looking at getting an anchor retrieval float for my brother for his bday and was wondering where i can buy them and what price i should be looking at! been on my mates boat and they are great to use! any help would be appreciated.

The cheapest floats are the 20 liter drums. Will lift most anchors and they don't roll.

I got mine from bcf. 12" float and clip and I think it was around $90 :)

make sure you get the model with the clip not the round ring! as the ring is a pain in the ass you either have to thread it back through your rope or disconnect your anchor and start from the other end

BCF do a float setup with a pressure split ring to make it easy to attach to the anchor line.

thanks for the replies. from the helpful info def not going the round ring as can see the dramas that would cause. And also looks like BCF would be the cheapest place to get one. Thanks:)

I've had an Ezyclip for a
I've had an Ezyclip for a while. They are a one-way non-return clip. They are great, however I recently had to splice my anchor rope and now the Ezyclip get's stuck on the splice during the retrieval process. Something to consider.
