Anglers warehouse fremantle

Put my faith into this mob to fix a problem I had with a reel. 3 months later with limited correspondence from the service team, replaced things and couldn't fix the initial problem.

I took it upon my self to go down and see what the status of the repair work was, to be told they cannot fix it and by the way you owe us $90 for the work we have done.

Shit service do not recommend that shop.

 Did they tell you before

Did they tell you before hand there would be a fee for opening and looking at it? That's how most places work and you surely had to expect to pay something for the time they spent on it. 3 months is a bit long but it sounds like you had some contact with them during it all? Just playing devil's advocate as there's always two sides to a story.

Look they did say it's gonna cost me a service fee plus parts but yeah we will fix it. at the end of the day, I'm outta pocket 90 bucks and a fucked reel still.

I was expecting phone calls with updates of repair work and costs then to be told, sorry mate it's gonna cost x amount of dollars to get this up and running plus you owe us 90.

If I ran a fishing business I would look after my customers better than that. Then told sorry for the delay we will include some promotional gear for you for the inconvenience.

You win some you loose some aye.

Yep absolutely need to be updated. took my one of my Stella's into Compleat with a locked drag and there was a phone call Monday outlining what the cost would be and repairs needed. Pretty simple and keeps you going back.

I posted in frustration and to anglers warehouse credit they have contacted me personally. we have sorted this situation out as an agreement and as far as customer service goes, I am satisfied. they have refunded me and it is an unfortunate thing with my reel that couldn't be fixed without spending big dollars.

 Boys get around

 Boys get around Oceanside

they are supreme. I dropped off my elec reel and a spin reel and rather then just tel you whatever to make you pay, they solved my issues for a fraction of what

they could have...likewise my spin reel has had it and they called and told me what was happening and what my options were.

best shop in Perth and I always go there for all my needs

keep it up lads

I shop at Anglers Fishing

Wed, 2017-07-26 09:18

I shop at Anglers Fishing World and with all the sponsors (subject to what I want / need) and haven't found many nicer blokes than Marco and Jake there.... Always look after me.
Reel servicing can always be an issue, especially if it has to go back to Daiwa or Shimano, but I've always followed up after a few weeks to expedite.
