Another bloody sambo, so what
Went to my usuall spot, which is only about 1 km off shore, early this morning hopin for a pinkie. Only fished sp's and burleyed up. The skippy were thick and when my mate's got nailed by Uncle Sam just at the back of the boat bringin it up, the next went back with a hook in it. I procedeed to 'lob' the livey out but the bail arm had flicked over and the weight of the 35cm skip took the rod outa my hands. Rugged up with several layers and uggies, I jumped in draggin another rod overboard in the process. I saved both rods, and swam like a hairy as fuck dog back and climbed aboard, laughed then let the skippy out again and soon it was on. Bigger than I would expect to get very close to land but good fun and easily my biggest fish in Perth. Theres gota be better table fish below......next time. Gota clean some reels out now.

Never hadm come up to the
Never hadm come up to the boat like today, hooked a smaller one on a placcy two weeks ago but today instead of cubein mulies, I just added a burley pot and that got the skippy right up to the boat. I think the fine burley brought on a feeding frenzy which brought the sambos around, there was a few of those size around, dropped a couple more. A 35 cm skippy isnt that small a bait, those sambos are pigs, awesome seein several big fish monster a hooked skipp at the back of the boat. Once he was released not a skippy or sambo was seen again even after another half hour of burleying up

Yeh, did it easy, stayed
Yeh, did it easy, stayed anchored up prob had 5 kgs of drag, over in a few minutes. The rod had a decent bend in it at times but feels like its got more in it, the whole rod bends, easy on the angler, I reckon its one of those rod tip in the water when fish is on type rods, love it! Oh yeah, want me to take you to my spot hay!
