Ant Invasion Help
Submitted by Bruce on Wed, 2014-07-16 14:07
Hi guys, gave the engine a crank over today and what i noticed was that there was a f**kload of ants everywhere. Checked the engine incase they were in there but seems fine and started and ran well. Just wondering if someone could recommend how to get rid of them- is there some sort of spray i could use or something of the like? Taking it for a run tomorrow to hopefully flush them out.
Thanks in advance

Mortein Spider Control
Kills over extended period but do not breath in the fumes when spraying - they are bloody evil

Thanks for that. Do you know
Thanks for that. Do you know if its safe to spray on the actual engine to keep them off it? Just concerned if the engine gets really hot and reacts with the flammable Mortein. Probably wouldn't be good!

So long as they haven’t
So long as they haven’t clogged your tell tale , I’d imagine they won’t be there when you get back .. we get those little buggars in the house over summer you spray every poison available then the next day the mrs yells “ They’re Back “

I use a product called amdro.
It is a really good product and kills the queen ant then the rest just disappear.

Thanks fellasSprayed Mortein
Thanks fellas
Sprayed Mortein everywhere along their track and actually moved the ski to another area and took the cover off because they were all over it. They were climbing up the chain I used to lock the ski up!
Ill see how it is in the morning and then go from there. I see you can get that Amdro from Bunnings just down the road too.
Cheers for the help and Joe for the offer
