hey boys heading up to denham tomoz and was just seeing if any 1 has fished before steep point or if there are any beach befor you hit steep point

are you talking about by boat or car? Cos if by road you wont be going anywhere near Denham and by boat, well you can look for beaches along the way to Steep Point??

You will need a 4wd is you are to go anywhere near steep and the spot below..
Shelter bay isnt to bad for smaller stuff. Really beautiful part of the world. I spotted a little point 400 meters just up from shelter bay toward steep where it drops off nice and deep. When i was up there it was 45C and the others didnt want to walk up there to try but i recon casting off that little point would get you some nice fish. Good wind directions most the time to get a baloon off too Below are the images of this spot... That point is known as the
That point is known as the sand spit. I have ballooned and fished the bottom there but only Managed rays and NW Blowies. There are also Whiting and Dart there and no doubt toothy criters would come though.

had a swim there marc saw a couple of big tailor cruising past deep as though you would have to get sharks there and possibly spanglies at night. we fished just north of the point up into the corner of that beach and cleaned up on massive whiting gardies flathead rogue shovelly as well fun day

I was thinking it would be good for tailor. I just remamberd i got my mates to stop in there on the drop off on the dingy and we cleaned up on spanglies and red throat
