same here bad weather wind wise, got out saturday from canal rocks about 20kms,caught 13kg dhue, some nice swallotail(nanny,s) and big red snap and a whiskery shark,,worth the wind burn ..haha
went out good friday from hillarys managed 5 undersized dhufish which all released great 2 snapper undersize one released great but the other made bait and landed a good black tip shark and got bitten off heaps , oh and fishcrazy aka craig took out the fish of the day with a pinky over the 6kg mark . Quite a few decent black arse and fished on the biggest school of snapper I have ever seen on my sounder . Also had monster yellowfin tun busting out from the water doing aerial displays and had a school of stripeys bust up and boil on the surface for about a minute . All in a days fishing to find some ground so the south of the river guys can triumph over the north guys and gals ( sorry Jody )
took the tinny up to Jurien over easter and did really well for 2days fishing..1 dhuie, couple of thumper baldy's (55-56cm) and one undersize, 4 nice pinks (biggest went 6kg) and some nice blackass!
oh yeh and forgot, the biggest bloody ray which gave me a bitta grief!
Most of the fish were caught drift baiting in 35m of water
nearly hit a roo at lake Clifton then blew my rodeo up 20km out of Busselton went back the next day to get it and unfortunately know one set it on fire or smashed it up then spent most of Easter looking for a car trailer .found trailer in Perth drove to Perth got with a mate then on Monday had to tow the car home in peak traffic with the rodeo loaded with 14 bikes in the back of the Ute what a sight.Boat still in Busselton GRRRRRRRR
Mine was pretty good, got a 65cm bluebone PB on spear, we got a couple of nice coral trout, rankin cod and other oddities. We also got Steve his first Exmouth marlin and a solid wahoo. Got a couple of spaniards of a nice lump not far from the ramp and had sensational conditions for 5 days, all in the tinny as the big boat was requiring a service.
Only downside was that I had to work on Easter Sunday, but the good thing was I found out where the fish were biting.. :)
Went up the Cod dam with a few friends , water was down as their pumping out of the dams for the vines but we managed a few good size fish but only the cod , Yellow belly were real quiet with none landed I think I hooked a beauty but didn't get a look at it as it pulled string off my reel from one end of the dam to the other and decided it would be better for it to wind my line all around a log in the water so no big fish for me again .
Apart from that we drank a real lot , talked even more crap and had a great ol' time of it ,OHHH and the farmers dog managed to eat about $40 worth of Salami .

Yeah frogs are still working ( but found a few more fish that eat them here in Perth .)
Poppers and suspending and floatering Lures in the shallows .
My order of lures and frogs came today and not last week when I needed them.
