Any one used these clips

G'day Crew,
Was wondering if anyone has used these clips at all, good or bad reports?
Thinking of giving them a run for smallish stick baits(30g-50g), don't think I would trust them to the approx breaking strain on the pack though.
Would be fishing around 30lb main line.
Cheers

Loop knot
Learn to tie a loop knot Boydy, cheaper and a lot more effective than a clip, especially for lure casting. Clip's are prone to failure IMO and can also impede the action of the lure at times.

Can't beat a split ring and a swivel but I use clips for the light stuff choppers/squid/whiting etc. Lost a cracker of a fish once down at dawesville. Had it on the line for one hour and the 30lb decoy clip gave way on 10lb line.. can't trust em even at 1/3 of the rating.

Generally run a loop type
Generally run a loop type knot with fluro for SPs and would probably do the same for the stick baits around metro if I was chasing tailor or salmon.
The clips would be more for mackies running a short single strand trace connected with a haywire twist and ball bearing swivel at the other end.
Was hoping the gape on the clip being rigid would allow the lure to swing pretty freely.
Normally if Im trolling I just run a short single strand haywired straight to the lure, swivel at the main line/leader end.
Just thought the clip alone at the lure end would be a bit less hard ware than swivel to split to lure.

I use these for everything except my 4lb outfit
Basically a split ring without the need for ring pliers, I frequently change lures and jigs etc
Tackle HQ sell them
I used to use the decoy egg snaps until a fish bit down on it and it opened, lost my jig and the fish

I like the look of them
I like the look of them tim-o, simple design and look strong.
Was looking at being able to change up the lure without constantly cutting back my leader.
I'm a bit suss on the actual clip part of the ones I've pictured, might go in the bin rather than loose a fish and lure.
Cheers.

Yep
Id run out of leader by the end of a sesh hah. I have had 10 kgs of drag and a grabbed spool with PE3 on the #3 ones that are rated to 25kg, never looked like distorting or opoening up ever, they are about 10mm long
