Going up this evening
Taking the dog for a run and seeing if any Tailor are about.
I was up there the day before yesterday and cut sick on decent Herring and some Poddy Whiting for future bait. I think I brought home 20 Herring and the same amount of Whiting. The cream came on my last cast when I landed a 54cm Tailor. Seeing as my bucket was full and I had a wife wanting me home for dinner, I didn't carry on.
Just on dawn or dusk seems to be the go for Tailor. Plenty of other fun there at any time of day. Just burley up regularly. Even if you don't find Flat Rock there are plenty of other good spots up that way.

Whiting
Mate; the Whiting are thick as blowies up there but very small. I guess you could fry them whole and use chopsticks..LOL A bit like eating whitebait..... They make great bait though for those late night excursions.

Yes well; Mullies on a Satay stick are not my preferred option so I keep the whiting for later just in case...:P
