Any spots around Shelley/Riverton area!!!

Gday all,
I was just wondering if there is any other spots around Shelley/Riverton area of the Canning River which I can access by foot or push bike? As I don't have a boat. Due to me only knowing The Sticks which is out the front of my place I wanna find some nice spots around this area which I can fish with lures?
Would any one be kind enough to share me some of the tips around this area?
It would be dearly appreciated!
Thanks Fishwrecked crew...
Cheers...

AS
Vander said around the corner down stream near the edge of the bank there is the boat channel. That's not too bad to soak a bait otherwise go and find some of those black crabs under rocks in the shallows for some really great bream bait! MAXY
