Anybody have somewhere I can tie up in Mandurah?

Hey Guys

I took the family down to Mandurah today for some
crabbng and other various fun, and we have had a bit of a fail on the
suspension on the trailer. I have had to leave it at a friends house in
Halls Head, but the trailer is too dodgy to get back to Butler.

I
am hoping someone can help me with a jetty or empty pen for a day or 2
this week. I am planning on getting the boat down a ramp and leaving it
tied up somewhere while I go and fix the trailer in Perth if I have to. I
know there are heaps of private jetties on the canals so I am hoping
someone knows someone if you get my drift.

If there are any good
samaritans out there you can get me on here, on 0419163183 or mattc@jimscleaning.net.au

I
appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Mate just knock on a few doors, of people living on the canals. Take some tea and scones, your bound to get some rich retire, to help you out.

you could try the fishing and sailing club, just explain your situation, I don't think they would mind as there is plenty of room this time of year. If not there are plenty of units with unused jettys in the Mandurah ocean marina.

Are you a member of any club Cammos?

Like CPBA or anything, Maybe even dive clubs? Alot of them have reciprocal rights to other locations.  I know mum and dad can take their yacht and keep it at the sailing club just south of the cut inside the estuary and use their facilities.

Thanks all for the help. Got the boat back to Perth on Wednesday with new hubs, bearings, springs and brakes on the trailer. $1400 later but at least I know now that the boat will still be there when I get where I am going. I had South West Trailers do all the work for me. I can't say whether the price is good or not but they certainly came to the party for me in my timeframe.

I also was lucky enough to have a kind citizen offer up the slip and jetty in their backyard to make life easier. I now want to live on the canals too, awesome to have a ramp in the backyard.
