Anyone fished Cervantes lately?

I've never fished on a boat up there, but I'm hoping to take my tinny up there sometime between the 7th and the 13th. My brother and his friends are all into freediving and spearing, but a I hope to catch a few fish while I'm up there as well as dive for a few crays.
Any tips or reports from recent trips perhaps?

My cousins and a mate came
My cousins and a mate came back from cervantes today and said they got a heaps of sized crays in 3-6m freediving...

Just got back from Cervantes
Just got back from Cervantes 5 days ago. Caught a heap of good sized Tailor, Skippy and Herring from the shore at around 5pm in the afternoon. Went out near the island next to the reef but only got alot of rock cods on the line so the island wasnt much chop.
