I went for a Kayak on saturday

From Royal Freshwater yacht club, north around karrakatta bank to point resolution, across the river to pt walter, down the west side of pt walter to Blackwall reach, across the river to Chidley pt and back to the Yacht club, I reckon I saw maybe 25+ boats crabbing.  Noone seemed to be doing well with only one u/size one I saw.  If you are going sort out your ropes for depth, there were some on sat with nearly 15mt of line up on the surface around the coombe, meaning they had nearly 35mt of rope on that pot in the river !

Fisheries tagged about 450 blues in the Swan 2 wks ago and about 80 in Cockburn Sound.  Keep an eye out for the tag glued on top of the shell.
