Assassin Landbased Fishing Club

The newly formed Assassin Landbased Fishin Club held their inaugural fishing competition at Hill River on Saturday 5/10/2013. Fishing conditions were tough with lots of weed and smaller fish around, standout fish for the night was a Sandbar Shark of 65.88 kg for Shaun Visser and overall winner of the night. The 2nd and 3rd spots were taken by Alan Davies and Sherbert with Tailor and Flathead weighed in.
Thanks to everybody who fished on the night, tight lines and see you at the next competition

Went down topreston beach on the weekend, way too much weed, gave up after a bit, has any one got any tips on how to fish in around weed?or is it give up as its a waste of time?
