KOTC report for team Sea-Kem
Well it's done and dusted but man what an action packed few days. It was awesome to catch up with all the boys down in Dunsborough again, Liam, Brendan, Dave and Damo to name a few and great meeting Timmo as well. Firstly I want to thank you guys for your hospitallity and helpful ideas. Loved the pub session Liam and ahh I'll shout the coffee when in town next ;) The ahem talent in the pub was just an added bonus lol Secondly the comp was run in a smooth professional manner, it's a credit to you guys and we are grateful for the effort. I know you guys would have put in imeasureable hours to get it off the ground and we will be back next year for another crack. We hit town on Wednesday and was straight out for a fish but was a bit lumpy out wide so no fish. Thursday was much the same so decided to go light and get a good bag of fat Whiting. Well Friday was looking the goods so hit it early and man what a day. I think we caught about a dozen different species and came home with a Pearler bag. The Blackarse were 470 and 480 mm.
Happy boy!
Saturday and the first day of the comp, she was bloody lumpy again so decided to go for some Whiting and caught a nice bag including this fella
Last day today and saw that the sea would ease around lunchtime so headed out late. Ended up with some Sambo fun on the light gear with Rory nailing this sucker, a good arm stretch for the boy, he was stuffed afterwards lol, but the grin says it all.
He topped off the day with this beautiful Harlequin, vino bottle gives you an idea of the size of this one.
Looking forward very much to making this a yearly thing, thanks again guys

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Was a great weekend. Looks like you did better than us. Weather was pretty average.
We gave up on heading deep so just floated round in shallow catching squid.

Impressed and jealous
Very impressive work Streeters. Just doing as you pleased really, its a hard life haha. Very solid blackarse and the Harley just bang on. Beautiful fish the harley, great flesh and underated in my opinion. Bet it was good to scratch the itch mate!! Managed to get down to Bremer Bay for a quick fish with the mrs. Some small fry stuff from the beaches, but do feel like im gaining ground on her and hopefully garnered some more interest in the my second great love, fishing. What sharks that?
