saw one at Mandurah boat show couple of years ago. Terrible transom design for fishing and no deck room, you wouldn't expect any support from manufacturer if you had any problem's with it

Dont touch them.. 2 mates

Thu, 2014-03-27 05:30

Dont touch them.. 2 mates imported two from China via some website.. only good thing about them is the 150 yam 4 strokes.. terrible layout, has a big "veranda" off  the cabin which encroaches into the deck space... if your  6 foot tall you will be banging your head on it. all deck fittings and screws are rusty, wiring all replaced after 2 years.. from memory paid about 32 K each landed.. the bloke selling has most likely done the same and trying to make an easy dollar.

cheers

Fittings are generally non-stainless hence the rusty screws etc. on some of the cheaper models coming out of China. By the time you replaced them all with stainless you may have well bought a more decent boat in the first place.

probably cheap wiring too!!

Atomix

Tue, 2014-04-08 15:48

Gee, I rarely comment on these sites 'cause they can get a little emotional but you've got me going with this one. I purchased an Atomix 600 Centre Console from Hi Tech Marine in Perth late last year (they are the national distributers now)... absolutely fantastic boat. 10 years hull warranty, 2 years on the trailer and 5 on the Merc 150 4 stroke. Fittings are 316 stainless and I haven't had a drama. The hull is made using a technique called resin infusion which allows the hull to have great strength and weighs in lighter than all the competitors I researched. This also allows Atomix to use absolutely no wood in their boat at all. I mainly purchased the boat because my mechanics father purchased a hard top at last years Mandurah Boat Show from Hi Tech and he raves about the thing... for your info MartyG the clearance from floor to under the HT is 191cm (bit bigger than 6 foot mate) directly through the skippers position. No issues with wiring etc, Hi Tech completely rig the boat in Perth with all wiring, harnesses, controls, cables and accessories. I paid $54k with duel batteries, Vessel View, NSS7 Simrad, Simrad VHF and Alpine stereo.. Absolutely rapped with the product and would recommend this boat to anyone who is serious about mid size boating. Oh, just a PS.... the Atomix 600 and 560 series meet and/or exceed the Australian Standard AS1799-1, ISO12217-1 and 94/25CE.... wonder how many others meet these standards?

Atomix

Hi Rainier,

Thanks for the positive feedback.

It’s good to know your enjoying your Atomix boat, that’s the kind of news we want to hear!

We have some exciting news for you. I know you were after more storage on your 600 Atomix.

I have just heard back from NZ they have made a 2 tier Side pocket attachment For each side, and an optional clip in Seat Box with a hatch that lifts up for additional storage/fridges ect.

These can actually clip into your existing model boat and gives you loads of storage and 2 extra comfy seats.

We also have some other exciting clip-in accessories coming.

These can turn your Atomix into either a Fishing Boat with plenty of room to stand one day and a Cruising boat seating 6 people on the deck.

Please also remember you have the Hitech/Mercury Service discount on your first service due soon.

Call me to arrange booking 9309 2888.

Take Care

Pauline

The great pretenders?

Tue, 2015-09-29 18:24

I believe Rainier is the general manager for Hitech Marine and the agent for Atomix boats.

Pauline clearly works at Hitech Marine and she appears to have no idea who the general manager is.

Pathetic

Why would you dig up a post from 17 months ago and make a statement like that?

Hidden Agenda?

Tue, 2016-10-04 23:16

Hi Everyone, I have only seen these last posts now because I have come here to look for another tech.

I feel the need to set a few things straight and possibly disappoint someone that obviously has too much time on their hands.

Lastlightmike - In relation to your comments 'the great pretenders' and 'pathetic' You should really get your facts right.

The day Rainier made that post he did not work for Hitech, he was simply a Very happy Atomix customer.
In September of 2014 he started working with us - 5 months after he wrote that post, and no not as the general manager.

Now in relation to being a ‘pretender’ and ‘pathetic’ Lastlightmike, it seems as though you only have 2 posts on this site - BOTH in an attempt to bag us.

I have setup this account to find someone in our community to employ, I really hope you have not setup yours to defame us online, which if so is actually quite pathetic.

Should you have a GENUINE enquiry or concern you can always give us a good ol’ fashioned phonecall and voice all your genuine concerns. We treat customer satisfaction very seriously and I’m sure if you speak to the actual general manager Tony (Yes I do know who it is) he would be more than happy to listen to your concerns.

In relation to the quality of this vessel this video should speak for itself as it is an INDEPENDANT review by BOATING PROFFESIONALS that have ACTUALLY SEEN and TEST DRIVEN this boat. https://youtu.be/Qk-AYibIQ54

Its amazing how not 1 genuine Atomix customer has complained about their boat, its either friends of friends or someone who thinks they maybe heard something about someone that once owned one...or something similar?

Now that’s taken care of….

If anyone who is reading this is a fully qualified marine mechanic with experience in Mercury Mercruiser engines, or If you know someone who is and is looking for a job please call us on the number above.

Thanks Guys

Independent watertest video - Rigged in WA

Wed, 2016-10-05 13:21

Hi Jackalchub

We don’t believe them to be cheap but what a boat should cost.
We have cut out the middleman there is no dealer so you’re getting the hull Factory direct. And we do all the rigging, electricals, engine, steering etc. in house at our Wangara (WA), Wollongong (NSW) and Dandenong (VIC) Stores.
Quality wise, they have a 10 year hull warranty supported by us here in WA (we’ve been around for 20 years). They come standard with all the ladders, gas pedestal seats, Hydraulic Steering and even automatic trim tabs, meaning you’re not adding extras of $$$ to give yourself a decent boat.
With regards to the ride rather than give you our opinion, check out this video it’s all here https://youtu.be/Qk-AYibIQ54 a full Independent unpaid & unbiased review on how it rides, tested here in WA.

If you have any questions you can give us a call, and we are also showcasing these boats at the Mandurah Boat Show this weekend, the whole crew Is there so if you like, come down and say hi.

Commodore centre console

Tue, 2022-04-19 16:40

Having bought the 7m version recently, I was wondering if anyone can tell me who built them and contact or can tell me what the 3 hull penetrations in the forward kill tank are for. One is certainly a combined inlet and pump outlet but the other two??? thanks

 Atomix or commodore?
The bloke that built commodore boats is still around. Nev Fox is doing repairs and rebuilds out of naval base. He would certainly be able to answer any questions on it.
