Flinders ramp
Is where you will launch for the ocean, new marina is still under construction. Just head out through the markers at the ramp and you cant go wrong. Heaps of sandies in the bay and good size too. If you want to brave the gap around the front near dead finish, head straight out from the lighthouse. Any where 5 mile out is good ground and about 40 odd metres. Good luck. Hope the swell is down for you.

River mouth
You can get a boat out through the river mouth when the swell is down but not worth the risk when it isn't.
