Hi Guys
I am heading down to Balla Balla from Port Hedland in a few weeks time for 2 days fishing with a mate from the Eastern States...I have promised him the world in terms of fishing. Has anyone fished there lately & how did they go, and can anybody give me some tips on what to chase and where (mud maps...whatever would be great). We will be in a 4.3m f/glass cent console.
I look forward to your help.
Cheers!...promise to post some pics

balla
If you get really keen I know that there is a charter know out of balla balla called westmore charters. The island westmore is only few mile from balla balla and has awesome accomodation on the island I actually stayed their a few times for work purposes. Have no idea what they are charging but from the look of the boat and access to some of the locl fishing knowledge around balla balla might be worth investigating. Like Brad said though there is some big black dews which are great fun plenty of holes. if ya have sounder you will be right. just check your not on huge tides if you are do your research. rock bar always produces fish. take ya sand fly spray. Not sure how hot the water is at the moment, but we caught barra as early as septeber few years back. get into em.....
