I've got the 5000 series and its a very nice reel. Nice and smooth to wind, drag is schmick. Only complaint is no infifnite anti reverse so it a lil cluncky and a lil heavy. I've got it matched up to a Texalium 8ft 8-10kg rod. Before going to Exxy in Oct I bought a Sustain 8000 and on that rod it leaves it for dead. So the Banax has been relegated to beach rod duties. Still very nice reel for the price.
lol...but then the Sustain is a fair bit more as well. I got the Banax Si2000 and like Mick's its got no anti reverse but its a pretty tough reel and mine is 5yrs old not running 10kg mono. You little one is great for light braid and with infinite anti reverse its perfect for all sorts of critters.
yeah i reckon ... lol when they buy rods its gota be more colorfull and cute.. nah the reel looks good. just wanted to no what the mechanics where like inside and if they had a good name.
