I would like to thank the arsehole that drained my fuel tank causing me to run out on the way back from the 5F just as the wind started to blow its guts out.
I had filled the tank (25 ltr ) on my way home ready for the next trip out to pull the pots. Ran out and had to get Sea Rescue to haul me home. talking to the missus and she said she heard someone knocking around the boat at about 21:30 and thought it was me getting the boat ready for the next morning. NOPE, it was some thieveing bastard that left enough for me to go out but not back in. Could have been dangerous if i was in the wrong position..
Now i take the tank out every time i get home. A bloody pain but still i won't lose any more fuel.

Been caught the same way,
Been caught the same way, got everything ready the night before, out of bed at half three, already hooked up.
Noticed the tanks were not where they should be, one missing the remaining one empty.
Missing one found a couple of days later,in the bush when walking the dog.
Went back to bed that day.
