anyone have any idea how long a 12 volt battery would last if you were running somthing that drew 15 to 20 amps thanks

There are many other factors
There are many other factors but......
if your talking about a car battery/cranking (CCA) battery you roughly divide the reserve capacity (RC) by 4 to acheive a very vague value for amp hours. For example my car battery has 520CCA and 110RC, So if you have something drawing 15-20amps you'll get roughly an hour out of a cranking car battery.
On the other hand if you have a deep cycle battery, its pretty straight forward. The battery will have the amp hours on there already. So just divide the how much current your drawing by what the battery is rated at.

marine batteries are usually
marine batteries are usually a mix of cranking and deep cycle. You'll have to check the specs on the battery.

just looking at some 12 volt appliances me and the cook are looking at doing a few days out at steep point somtime soon but she wants a few luxurys
