When you get one try to get one that's easy to remove, that way it's not always exposed to the elements and you can just stick it in when you need it. I had mine custom made but have only used it once so it spends all it's time in the cabin.
This habit is getting expensive!

Considered an esky?
The XT 100 mackerel box makes a fantastic removable bench seat. Get a fitted cushion made up and you have a very versatile seat. Happy to talk to you about it if required.
