Bent vibe

I was flickin lures for bream thismornin in the lower swan I was usin a 1/4oz tt vibe when I filcked it under one jetty it was smashed and not only did I snap my trebbels trying to wrestle him out but when I got my vibe back it was bent in half has this happened to any1 else. I was thinkin large bream any other thoughts

they dont bend out on fish
they dont bend out on fish like bream. Have had them bend when theyve knocked against hard structure and been snagged,
