They are a plague
I am sure they not supposed to be in those types of numbers. It seems like they are taking over all the landbased spots In Perth.

you know, the blowies came
you know, the blowies came over with the ships in the 1700's and 1800's, in the hulls.. bloody stupid euro fish.
They got here and there was no predators to wipe them out, so they flourished.
I suppose they have some sort of use over there.

So technically it should be similer to the "redfin" therory?
Illegal to throw em back?
We should do a once a year "blowfish" instead of swanfish and whoever brings the most Kilo's of blowies wins prizes!
Seriously!
Trust me i know the best blowie spots!

good idea
I reckon it's a good idea. They are so frustrating, and probably stop other fish from flourishing.

How do we get this "blowfish
How do we get this "blowfish 2008" organised?
All the dead blowies would make great fertilizer for the farmers!

Pick a spot
Any spot and bring a big bag. I have some old pool salt bags that will hold quite a few
