Best Trolling Line

What is the best line and brand for trolling? I prefer mono over braid but am interested in members comments.

Always used platypus
Always used platypus pre-test. Its Igfa rated and has pre-tested stretch. Its one of a few lines that are alowed in game fishing tournaments. It is a bit thicker for its diameter, but has good abrasion properties.

Berkley Big Game mono is my choice for trolling.

Stren Gold Mono
Berkley Biggame for us but they have discontinued the hi-vis green so we have made the switch to Stren Gold (same manufacturer) hi-vis and thats now our trolling go-to line.....IGFA rated etc

i was undecided until i spoke to the guru pete pakula at gamex a couple of years back .he ran stren ,,,who was i to argue .stren for me

I am running stren, but that came as a recommendation, so I havent done any back to back testing with other brands.
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

i use stren high vis yellow seems to tie better knots feels softer.
