 I use BOM MetEye as well for the winds, fish up there a bit and find that best for wind speed and direction

It’s literally impossible to get a more accurate forecast than fishranger. Have a read up on their website and compare the results. Basically all weather forecasts use the same system to predict weather, but some pay for higher resolution/quality input data. Since the predicting process is the same, the higher res the input data the more accurate the forecast. Fishranger uses the highest quality input data available, but it is costly. Fishranger also goes the next step and let’s you get the forecast out to sea rather than on shore, which eliminates a lot of forecast error between the two.
