Have a look at the PAKULA hooks, still depending at what kind of fish youd be targeting but 30-50mm hook gap id be guessing pretty big...

ive seen alot of 2packs for just under $20 which seems like murder to me but ive never overly looked into those brands.Ive never had the $1.20s bend on me so they are great valve, had a few things around the 20kg on them so realistically i dont want to splash one on ultra pricey hooks as i dont use them to offen.

pudzz, use them when i feel like drinking more than fishing haha, when i go down south there are a few beaches with big drop offs out the back and i paddle the bait out.

Hey JIM1 - if you really want

Hey JIM1 - if you really want a hook - that size - that will truly stand the test - try Daiichi hooks - search on net. Trust me JIM - they are good, solid and will NOT bend. Some pretty decent size fish has been caught with these. They not cheap, but every penny worth it.
