Hello Fishwreckers,
Big day for me today, I've finally launched Big John's Jigs as an official business, and with that, my online store.
I'd like to thank all of you who have purchased my jigs on here over the past decade. The feedback has been great and of the best sort, repeat business.

Very easy to navigate but
Very easy to navigate but would be much better if your product went to the cart without the checkout box popping up each time as you have to keep closing it down. Just a little niggly thing but I am buying multiple jigs of different colours so it'd be better to quickly and easily just click on each one without having to close down a pop up box each time.
My suggestion is to allow multiple purchasing of the same jig on the product page and then it goes straight to the cart for review before purchasing. Free pickup for locals would also be great.
Other than that getting my brother and dad to also order some with me and looking forward to getting my sea legs back so I can give them a crack inshore.

That cart popup is a restriction of the platform. At the moment you have to purchase 1 then update quantity in the 'instant' pop-up. Multiple quantities would be ideal but that's how it is at the moment. Does only take 2-3 seconds each time though.
Not doing local pickup from my house for random people, that's why I got a PO Box as a contact address.
If you want to arrange something on the pickup front, give me a call on 0417704165 prior to submitting the order and we'll sort something out.

Too easy mate, like I said it's just a niggly little thing (guess my years of perusing questionable websites has given me a natural aversion to popups) and understand the pick up issue for sure. Hard enough trying to sell one thing off gumtree and get the gumfreaks to turn up on time (if at all) letalone multiple orders off the world wide wide. Hopefully other stores like Tackle HQ start stocking them too for those who only want a couple of jigs for a day out (dunno if that's part of the grand plan).

Yep, Mick has 3 & 4 oz spire points, 2oz Quobba candy, 1/2 - 2.5oz H Heads (duralloy, not premium), bullet head sp heads and some duralloy nylon bananas.

I thought you'd like those purple ones.
When bottom fishing with them, put a sliver of flesh (skin still on) on the hook. Drop to the bottom and gently work like slow dunking a tea bag. If you get a few bites and don't hook up, crank up fast from the bottom for the chance of a pelagic.

Fluoro or even regular mono 90% of the time.
When spinning off Quobba used a short length of single strand wire.
