Give consideration in the election for SFF in the Senate, our candidate Andrew Skerritt will make a fine Senator and representative. There are also House of Rep candidates in Cowan, Jamie Chester and Burt Ian Blevin.

where your vote goes
your vote goes to your number 2 selection and if they don't get a guernsey it goes to your number 3 and so on. The change to this years Senate paper is that in the past you voted for your favoured party by putting a 1 in their box on the top of the page and your preference went to whoever they had decided. This year you number at least 6 boxes above the line in whatever order you decide or you can pick up a how to vote slip from you favourite party and follow how they wish you to vote.
I hope that makes sense

Must admit that I don't like the S&F want to loosen Australian gun laws...
I am in Burt, the first 2/5 are easy, don't know which of the remainder to put last.

Family and home protection
Family and home protection as a genuine need? Nope, home invaders and crackheads would definitely not like that one to get through.

I am a shooter but certainly dont want it to be like the US.
However I also dont want to be automatically require a lawyer if a person enters my house illegally and is injured as a consequence, which is how it is going here.
This is more of a State thing though.
A mate told me he wasnt going to vote for Colin Barnett tomorrow.
I didnt have the time or heart to explain it to him...

No offense intended but a
No offense intended but a lot of you obviously have no clue about our gun laws and are only believing the media tripe being dribbled! There is a massive discrepancies between states in our So called national firearm laws. For instance in WA Each firearm is licensed rather than the individual where by in Victoria/NSW/QLD the Person is licensed for the particular type of firearm. Because of WA’s interpretation issues arise like if you were a licensed shooter and I was licensed shooter, as the law stands in WA you cannot store your licensed firearm in my safe, if you were to do so I would be charged with a firearms offense, despite me being a LAFAO as well.
Our gun laws don’t work, all they do is allow the firearms to fall into the wrong hands i.e. the Sydney siege that was a shotgun has been BANNED since 1996 yet it still found its way into the goat fuckers hands… If you look at our firearms deaths prior to 96 there was already a downward trend, the same trend was also experienced in New Zealand and Canada. Funnily enough these two countries allow the same rifles and shotguns that were prohibited here! With Canada in particular completely abolishing their firearm registry on the grounds it was costing millions to maintain but was not doing anything to prevent crime… WHY BECAUSE CRIMINALS BY THEIR VERY NATURE DO NOT OBEY LAWS! (https://shootersunionqld.com.au/dr-samara-mcphedran-gun-laws-dont-stop-gun-violence/).
Australians are not Americans our attitudes and cultures, whilst both western countries, we are still vastly different.

Surprised more north of river folks didn't get behind Jamie Chester in the seat of Cowan. Best chance there has been to have a genuine rec fisher voice in parliament.

He got a 1 from me and it
He had no chance in hell with a 3 term incumbent vs the Labor glammer girl from south of the river.
He got a 1 from me and it appears mum gave him a 1 as well. People in Cowan were keen to get behind one of the two big camps it seems with all the pre election mudslinging up this way.

listening to 6pr this morning
some clown rang up about the party wanted to ease gun laws and that one guy was a stalker, they didn't go near the stalker issue, but did say yeah why do we need a shooters fishing party, I tried to call and tell them,[like how many people hunt and fish] but never got a callback

Not at all
My point was there are a huge amount of people who hunt and fish and that they deserve a party to protect their interests, fish santurys management etc

possibly
better off teaming up with surfing as a "gaurdians of the ocean type " ie - surfing and sustainable fishing party.
A lot of surfers fish on flat days , both could help each other with beach access issues etc.
