Billfish Bonanza with Seaforce
We are taking expressions of intrest for anyone keen to fish this years Billfish Bonanza out of exmouth with us. I am putting this here on Fishwreked first but will be openly advertised by the end of this week, so if keen let us know asap.
The comp is from the 19th to the 22nd of October with the briefing night being on the Thursday and fishing Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Our plan goes like this.
Wedneday the 18th: Depart Coral Bay at first light and fish our way to exmouth. Trolling for Billfish and testing the odd bit of deep drop ground. Depending on weather, either motor into exmouth harbour, or stay out deep dropping and drifting baits for Broadbill Swordfish.
Thursday the 19th: Half day trolling to get our eye in and everone up to speed. In early for the breifing ath the clubhouse.
Friday the 20th to Sunday the 22nd: Fishing hard with lines in the water for every second possible. We will be fishing 24kg stand up targeting mainly Marlin. if weather is good staying out overnight bottom fishing and drifting baits for Broadbill. At the clubhouse Friday night for presentations.
Monday the 23rd: Fish our way back to Coral Bay testing and bottom ground found during the week of trolling. Back in the bay later that night.
You can either meet us in Coral bay and be on for the trip up and back or meet us in exmouth and just fish the comp. All the fishing gear, good meals, cool drinks, water, ect. Will be provided. Any other hard drinks, or personal snacks, feel free to bring along yourself. It will be live aboard. But our vessel Valiant (50ft Westcoaster) is no luxury air conditioned show pony. She is a fishing boat. She is comfortable well set up with plenty of room, but it will be swags on the deck. So if you need a bit more luxury feel free to arrange your own accomodation in exmouth. Pricing is only to cover costs, as we will be fishing this comp with or without customers as preperation for next years GAMEX. We plan on 4 pax plus our 2 crew but if you want to fish with more or less people talk to us. It does not include EGFC membership ($120) and entry fees (TBA max $100), both required to fish in the comp.
Total cost for all 6 days fishing whole boat $5000 (max 4 pax), or $1500pp, or $500 to fish just 1 day of the comp.
Let us know if you are intrested or if you have any questions by pm or email
