Bream In Collie

Sat, 2009-11-21 10:33

Collie River can produce some excellent fish. Are u in a boat or on the shore. Fished the river since I was a young Lad and know every snag and movement of the fish in the area. At this time of the year they will be upstream past the T junction in the snags on the left of the river as u head up. Anchor out a bit and through right into the snags. Often one snag will produce several fish. Use live shrimp if u can get them or gilgies, if not river prawns. During the week produces more fish due to less boat traffic.

Mon, 2010-02-22 16:46

Got a small tailor on a lure yesterday arvo, and had a bigger one on the line but after a few jumps and stuff it fell off. I was fishing on the corner of barnes avenue o near the boat ramp. Still no sign of bream...
